A belated thanks for the wonderful workshop you moderated/coordinated at Artomatic. You put together a fabulous panel—I found the workshop to be inspiring and useful. Your panel was so knowledgeable and generous—I am grateful for everyone’s willingness to participate and give so much back to the art community.
This is the first year I participated in Artomatic. I had two goals for the show:
to be a part of this wonderful celebration of the creative spirit
to make one good connection, or learn one good lesson, or have one significant experience

Thank you very much for the yesterday's class at the Plaza. Although English is not my first language, I am Portuguese, I really enjoyed your
presentation and I was able to understand almost everything. What we learned yesterday, is going to be useful in the future (starting today),I have already a positive way at looking at it.

"I wanted to take a moment to thank you for you wonder 12 STEP Program. It's been 6 weeks since the EXPO in Pasadena and I haven't lost my momentum yet. I must admit that I've been jumping around a little bit because there are some things I'm dreading to complete (bio) and other things I can't wait to finish (logo and portfolio pages). But I have your voice in my head and I promise I'll keep on task.
I can't put it in words how much your advice and guidance means to me. I feel like the portfolio review was a pivotal moment in my life and I'm more than a little frustrated with myself for keeping that one gallery owner's words in my head for nearly 20 years! Well hopefully it'll be your voice that I hear for the next 20. I'm almost finished with my sample portfolio and I'm very excited to send it to you. I still have so many questions but I'm trying not to get bogged down in the little stuff. The words "get over it" and "that's not important" are my mantras as I try to over think everything."
