I am a working artist and teacher. I have an MFA in Painting from the University of Delaware and a Maryland State Teaching Certification. I currently teach Studio Art Painting and Drawing at Walt Whitman High School. As teacher, I am a guide for those on a journey of creativity and discovery. Along the way, students learn the formal techniques and processes of art making. More importantly, they develop a new ability to interpret and perceive…the ability to “see”. The students use these skills to visually express their critical and creative response to the world around them.
